At the Bimu 2002 fair, the most impressive milling machine is the "ESTREMA" manufactured by OMV of Parpas Group, equipped with CNC Z32 and digital control boards for motor drives. All the movements of this machine are achieved with Direct-Drive torque and linear motors. Traverse speed is 120 m/1’ and accelerations are more than 2G. The “Mercedes test” is machined in less than 9'.
