    CNC Z32 C15 FlorenZ

    Central unit suitable for installation in an "All In One" operator console. Compact and equipped with a 15" Touch Screen display, machine pushbutton panel and alphanumeric keyboard. Thanks to its good value for money, it is the ideal solution for retrofitting machines and creating operator consoles:

    The MLK-FZ Master Link manages the data exchange between the PC-based central unit of the Z32 FlorenZ Series CNC and the peripherals (drives and I/O).

    Its connections are:
    RTE (Real Time Ethernet): connection to the central unit of the CNC Z-Link: optical fiber bus for I/O, analog references, encoder inputs (2mS sampling time) Z-Star2: optical fiber bus for SPevo digital drives (sampling time 250μS)
    It supports PE3 I/O flanked modules (see I/O Modules section). It directly supports up to 8 SPevo digital drives, connected via the Z-Star2 CH1 channel.
    The additional Z-Star2 channel on the EXP-FZ1 expansion board manages another 8 SPevo digital drives, for a total of 16 SPevo digital drives. The presence of the EXP-FZ1 expansion board does not allow PE3 flanked modules.
    The three Z-Star2 additional channels on the expansion board manage an additional 8 SPevo digital drives per channel.

    When there are no expansion boards (EXP-FZ1, EXP-FZ3) it is possible to connect up to 8 PE3 I/O modules directly on the Master Link, as in the figure:

    I/O Z-Link Peripherals

    The Z-Link fiber optic bus connects the I/O peripherals to the MLK-FZ Master-Link

    • The Z-Link is a fiber optic ring connection which starts from the Master-Link, connects all the Z-Link nodes and ends on the Master-Link
    • Up to 25 Z-Link peripherals are supported, with a mix of any type of input or output, in any order
    • The maximum distance between the Master Link and the Z-Link node, or between the nodes, is 30 meters.

    The optical fiber, completely immune to electrical noise of any kind, allows this bus to immediately comply with the strictest EMC standards.

    D.Electron designs and manufactures digital drives for:

    • 400Vac brushless motors (axes)
    • 400Vac linear motors (axes)

    • 400Vac asynchronous motors (spindles)
    • 400Vac flux-weakened synchronous motors (spindles)

    The Z-Star2 drives require a common power supply which generates the 600Vdc DC bus and various power modules connected to the DC bus.

    The communication between the drives and the Master-Link is carried out via an optical fiber connection: the optical fiber connection starts from the Master-Link, passes through all the drives and ends on the Master-Link forming a ring connection, called Z -Star2 channel.
