A REAL CONTRIBUTION TO YOUR WORK
The company’s policy of growing our product along with the mold makers in order to be able to provide a real contribution with a numerical control designed and built for your specific needs, lead to the development of the "MOLDS" software function. With which the Z32 numerical control (with its functions and algorithms for managing machining and machine dynamics) allows the compatibility with the programming of part-programs written for the Selca® CNC.
SIMPLE, INTUITIVE AND FRIENDLY MACHINE TERMINAL
CONVERSATIONAL INTRODUCTION OF DATA FOR CANNED CYCLES
Editing and debugging operations can be performed directly on the Z32 control, without interrupting the machining in progress, by taking advantage of the guided programming functions of the Z32 Z-Flash application which allows to simply and quickly program canned cycles, leveling and slotting.
REAL-TIME GRAPHICS WHILE PROGRAMMING THE EXAMPLE PROFILE VIA G10, G11, G13, G20, G21
The development of the "MOLDS" application required a considerable effort, but its use now allows the operator to carry out a programming on board the machine by using the same standards used with the famous Selca®.
EMPTYING OF SLOTS WITH PASSES PARALLEL TO THE PROFILE
For example, you can program for:
- profiles using G10, G11, G13, G20, G21
- pockets Plane profile/ Section profile using G736, G737, G738
- Spiral milling using G734, G735
EXAMPLE OF PARAMETRIC PROGRAMMING
Even the part-programs already written and tested on machines equipped with the Selca® CNC can be imported into the Z32 and executed without any text conversion. During their execution, the operator will see the part program lines scroll as if he were in front of a Selca® terminal. If it is necessary to execute a single command line in semi-automatic mode, for example for the positioning of an axis, this can be done by typing a string in the Selca® language. The Z32 D. Electron Numerical Control is therefore increasingly friendly for the operator, giving him the impression of working directly on a Selca®.
RETROFIT, NEW LIFE TO A MACHINE TOOL
Retrofitting a machine using the Z32 with the “MOLDS” option installed has a few advantages:
- recovery of the part-program library developed over the years for your Selca® CNC
- no need to modify the post-processor of the CAD/CAM used for programming the machine
- the machine operator is already familiar with the programming language of the machine, the training time for using the new CN Z32 is reduced
- possibility of supplying regulation boards for Simodrive® 611 single and bi-axis drives from Siemens®, drives and motors, if still in good condition, can be salvaged thus reducing the cost of retrofitting.
- Z32 offers the possibility of working both on third-party analog drives and on D.Electron ZStar2 digital drives and therefore a machine can initially be retrofitted only in the control part and later in the power part without the need for heavy interventions in the machine PLC
… IF THE MACHINE IS NEWLY MANUFACTURED?
Nothing could be easier for the system integrator or for the manufacturer to provide the "MOLDS" software option if you wish to purchase a new machine equipped with Z32. This is a software application that must be enabled after installing the Z-Flash option. Non sono necessarie variazioni alla logica di macchina.
